Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Information Technology courses at the undergraduate level.
- Design and update course content in line with current industry trends and academic standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research, and academic progress.
- Conduct original research and publish scholarly work in reputable academic journals.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students to support their intellectual and professional growth.
- Contribute to the university's broader academic and community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.
- A Ph.D. in Information Technology or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
- Strong record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or a valid Certificate of Exemption/Exclusion, where applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor undergraduate students effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
