We are seeking a dedicated and scholarly Lecturer II in Political Science to join our growing faculty. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to inspire students, contribute to academic discourse, and advance knowledge in political science through quality teaching and rigorous research.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Political Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Develop and update course curricula aligned with international standards and NUC requirements
- Conduct and publish original scholarly research in peer-reviewed journals
- Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and institutional development
- Participate in academic conferences and professional development activities
- Mentor junior academic staff and support student academic growth
- Ph.D. in Political Science or a closely related discipline, OR a Master's Degree with at least three (3) scholarly journal publications
- Minimum three (3) years teaching experience in a recognized tertiary institution
