About the Role
Margaret Lawrence University, a premier private institution committed to advancing learning and developing character across two world-class campuses, seeks a dedicated and accomplished legal scholar to join its Faculty of Law as Lecturer I (Communication and Corporate Law). Based in Galilee, Ika North-East LGA, Delta State, this position offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of legal professionals while contributing to scholarly discourse in contemporary legal practice.
Qualifications- PhD in Law, or LL.M with substantial progress toward PhD completion
- Active membership of the Nigerian Bar
- Demonstrated scholarly publications and teaching potential
- Strong expertise in Communication and Corporate Law
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Internationally indexed publications and research output
- Secured research grants and funded projects
- Professional certifications relevant to legal practice
- Curriculum development experience
- Experience with moot courts, law clinics, and clinical legal education programmes
- Membership in recognized professional bodies and scholarly associations
- Evidence of interdisciplinary and technology-enabled legal scholarship
