Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction in Constitutional Law and related courses
  • Conduct rigorous legal research and contribute to scholarly publications
  • Supervise student projects, dissertations, and academic work
  • Participate in curriculum development and programme improvement initiatives
  • Mentor students through moot court, law clinic, and clinical legal education programmes
  • Engage in academic service and departmental governance
  • Contribute to the university's research agenda and institutional excellence

Qualifications
  • PhD in Law OR LL.M with substantial progress toward PhD completion
  • Active membership of the Nigerian Bar
  • Demonstrated scholarly publications and teaching potential
  • Preference given to candidates with: internationally indexed publications, research grants and funded projects, professional certifications in legal practice, curriculum development experience, moot court and clinical legal education experience, membership in recognized professional bodies, and evidence of interdisciplinary or technology-enabled legal scholarship
