Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and global best practices.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and mentor students on academic and career development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- A mandatory Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic research and publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
