The Federal University Lafia invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academic professionals for the position of Lecturer II in Paediatrics within our esteemed College of Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Paediatrics to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and academic progress.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic reputation of the university.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide academic committees.
- Engage in community service and clinical outreach programs associated with the institution.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Paediatrics or a directly relevant medical field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree plus a minimum of two (2) reputable journal publications.
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at a recognized university level.
