About the Role
Jimoh Babalola University (JBU), a premium and fully licensed private higher education institution in Ilorin, Kwara State, is seeking a dedicated and academically driven Lecturer II in Nursing Science to join its Faculty of Nursing Sciences. Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical training sessions in Nursing Science courses.
- Supervise undergraduate students' academic projects, clinical practice, and research work.
- Engage in continuous research activities and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and improvement initiatives.
- Provide academic mentorship and guidance to nursing students throughout their studies.
- Contribute to departmental and university-wide academic and administrative activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in nursing practice and education.
- Support the university's mission of academic excellence and societal impact.
- Master's Degree in Nursing Science with evidence of registration for a PhD program.
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-MSc experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice.
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and a current practising licence.
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or a Certificate of Exemption/Exclusion, where applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor undergraduate students effectively.
- Strong record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
