About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa and located in Masaka, Nasarawa State near Abuja, is currently seeking a passionate and qualified academic professional to join our Department of Nursing Science as a Lecturer II. Fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), we are dedicated to providing skill-oriented, international-quality education that prepares students for dynamic healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Nursing Science to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula in alignment with NUC guidelines and industry standards.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and academic progress.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental administration, student mentoring, and university committee assignments.
- Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Nursing Science or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree in Nursing Science or a relevant discipline must have at least 3 scholarly journal publications and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
