About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU), a prestigious private institution licensed by the National Universities Commission, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academic professionals for the position of Lecturer II in Nursing Science. Established by the Kola Daisi Foundation, our institution is dedicated to academic excellence, innovative research, and producing well-rounded graduates equipped to meet contemporary societal challenges. We are currently expanding our Faculty of Nursing Science and require a passionate educator to join our growing academic community for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Nursing Science to undergraduate students.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and clinical fieldwork.
- Participate in student academic advising, mentoring, and pastoral care to ensure student success.
- Contribute to curriculum development, department administration, and departmental committee assignments.
- Engage in community service initiatives and collaborative healthcare outreach programs sponsored by the university.
- Applicant must possess a PhD Degree in Nursing Science or a directly relevant field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have at least two (2) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in reputable, indexed national and international journals.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in e-learning platforms.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
