About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer II in Music to join our dynamic faculty and contribute to our expanding arts and humanities programs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate lectures and practical instruction in Music.
- Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and evaluation methods in line with university standards.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentor, advise, and counsel students on academic performance, career paths, and personal development.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, practical sessions, and performances.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, university committees, and community service initiatives.
- A Ph.D. degree in Music from a reputable and accredited university.
- Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's Degree in Music with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Strong evidence of academic publications in recognized journals will be a distinct added advantage.
