We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our academic team as a Lecturer II in Medical Microbiology within the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Medical Microbiology to undergraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, dissertations, and laboratory practicals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Act as an academic adviser and mentor to students, guiding them in their academic and moral development.
- Maintain current professional registration and adhere to ethical standards in teaching and research.
- Must possess a PhD in Medical Microbiology or a closely related relevant discipline.
- At least two (2) years of cognate university teaching or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, ongoing research, and relevant academic publications.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising license where applicable.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern teaching delivery.
