Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Mechanical Engineering undergraduate courses.
  • Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment methods aligned with academic standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and industrial training programs.
  • Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their holistic development.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, committee works, and university community service initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
  • Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience at the tertiary level are eligible to apply.
  • Strong evidence of academic publications in reputable journals will be a distinct added advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in digital teaching tools, modern instructional technologies, and discipline-specific software.
  • A strong bias and proven capability for impactful research and academic innovation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
