About the Role
S-TEE Schools, established in September 1978 by Madam S. T. Lawal with a steadfast commitment to human capital development, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Language Teacher. In this role, you will inspire students to develop a deep appreciation and mastery of the English language while delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned instruction in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging, coherent, and motivating lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Cultivate students' interest in and ability to utilize English language knowledge effectively.
- Utilize modern learning technology to plan and deliver interactive lessons.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and achievements.
- Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabi, courses, and learning resources.
- Provide up-to-date academic advice and pastoral support to pupils.
- Stay informed regarding educational reforms and curriculum changes.
- Maintain physical learning resources and collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Participate in wider school activities and undertake additional duties assigned by the Principal.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Education.
- At least 3 years of verifiable teaching experience in a recognized institution.
- Strong practical knowledge and innovative skills in classroom lesson delivery.
