About the Role
S-TEE Schools, established in September 1978 by Madam S. T. Lawal with the ultimate goal of developing human capital, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Cultural and Creative Arts Teacher. In this role, you will inspire students, cultivate their appreciation for the arts, and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with modern educational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop in each student a deep interest in and understanding of Cultural and Creative Arts.
- Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons across varying classes utilizing modern learning technology.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans in line with current curriculum objectives and recent educational reforms.
- Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabi, courses, and learning resources.
- Maintain full, accurate records of student achievements and provide relevant academic advice and support.
- Manage and maintain physical learning resources, liaising with other departments when necessary.
- Participate in wider school activities and undertake additional duties as assigned by the Principal or Head of School.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGD).
- At least 3 years of proven teaching experience in Cultural and Creative Arts.
- Strong practical knowledge and innovative skills in classroom lesson delivery.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology for teaching and learning.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
