Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria invites qualified academics to join our International Relations department as a Lecturer II. Established in 2021, MIU is the first Indian university campus on the African continent, delivering world-class education aligned with global standards. Located in Masaka, Nasarawa State, our institution is fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and approved by the Federal Executive Council.
As a Lecturer II in International Relations, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging, rigorous coursework that prepares students for leadership roles in diplomacy, global governance, and international affairs. Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver comprehensive lectures in International Relations courses
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputable academic journals
- Mentor and supervise postgraduate research projects
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Engage in academic administration and committee work
- Foster collaborative learning environments that encourage critical thinking
- Ph.D. in International Relations or related discipline, OR Master's Degree with at least 3 scholarly journal publications
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in recognized tertiary institutions
- Demonstrated expertise in international relations theory and practice
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
