The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a premier federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and qualified academic professional to join our esteemed Faculty of Medicine as a Lecturer II in Internal Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in Internal Medicine.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and academic progress.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish peer-reviewed articles in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Engage in community service and clinical practice associated with the university teaching hospital framework.
- Possession of a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant medical or academic discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and academic experience at a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
