Federal University Lafia is seeking a dedicated and professionally driven academic to join our esteemed College of Medicine as a Lecturer II in Internal Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Internal Medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in line with accreditation standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, clinical rotations, and student mentorship programs.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research in Internal Medicine and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to the overall administration and growth of the institution.
- Engage in community service initiatives and clinical practice associated with the university teaching hospital framework.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant medical or academic field from a recognized institution, OR a Master's degree plus at least two (2) journal publications.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at a recognized university level.
- Demonstrated expertise in Internal Medicine with a strong portfolio of academic publications.
- Valid registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria (such as the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria) where applicable.
