About the Role
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer II in Industrial Engineering to join its prestigious Faculty of Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Industrial Engineering and related courses.
- Supervise student research projects, laboratory sessions, and industrial training attachments.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance to foster their professional growth.
- Collaborate with industry partners to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical industrial applications.
- A First Degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division.
- Alternatively, a First Degree with a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering.
- For Master's holders, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution is required.
- A proven track record of at least three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications.
