About the Role
The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a prestigious federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in the Department of Management Science. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality education, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributing to impactful research within the field of Human Resources Management.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Human Resources Management and related management science courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct cutting-edge academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and professional development programs aligned with the university's mission.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must possess a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications.
- A first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a completed PhD.
