About the Role

The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a prestigious federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in the Department of Management Science. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Human Resources Management and related management science courses.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
  • Conduct cutting-edge academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
  • Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications.
  • A first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division with a completed PhD.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
