Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Health Information Management to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula in line with modern healthcare standards and National Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and field placements.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and academic events.
- Mentor students academically and professionally to ensure holistic development and career readiness.
- Utilize ICT tools effectively for virtual learning, student assessment, and administrative tasks.
- Possession of a PhD in Health Information Management or a relevant allied health field, OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of teaching or research experience as an Assistant Lecturer.
- Must have a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed journal publications, which must include at least 1 publication indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Demonstrated ICT proficiency with competence in digital learning management systems and academic software.
- Active membership in relevant professional health information management bodies.
- Mandatory possession of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate or valid exemption certificate.
