About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU), Ibadan, is a prestigious private tertiary institution committed to academic excellence, moral formation, and impactful research. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer II in English Language, with a specialized focus on Literature and Syntax, to join our vibrant academic community for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in English Language, specifically covering Literature and Syntax courses at the undergraduate level.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, essays, and academic activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising and mentoring to students to support their holistic development.
- Leverage ICT tools to enhance pedagogical delivery and student engagement.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in English Language with a specialization in Literature and Syntax from a recognized and accredited university.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong portfolio of scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT with the ability to utilize modern educational technology and learning management systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
