Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer II to join its prestigious Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering within the School of Engineering. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical training, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
  • Develop and update course curricula, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with institutional and national educational standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, laboratory sessions, and student industrial work experience programs.
  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in department, school, and college-wide committees, academic administration, and student mentoring.
  • Engage in community service and industry linkages to promote technological development and entrepreneurship.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline, supported by at least three (3) conference or seminar papers and three (3) published journal articles.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, alongside three (3) conference or seminar papers and three (3) published journal articles.
  • Serving Lecturer III candidates with a Master’s degree who have completed at least three (3) years of satisfactory service, plus two (2) conference/seminar papers and two (2) published journal articles, are also eligible to apply.
