Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Literature-in-English to undergraduate students.
  • Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment methods in alignment with university standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, essays, and academic field activities.
  • Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings and academic events.
  • Provide academic advising, mentoring, and counseling to students to support their holistic development.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Literature-in-English or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree alongside at least four (4) relevant academic publications will be considered.
  • Demonstrated evidence of teaching experience at the tertiary education level is an added advantage.
  • Strong commitment to upholding high moral standards and ethical values consistent with the institution's mission.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
