About the Role
Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria, a reputable private conventional university committed to academic and moral excellence, is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in the Department of Finance. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Finance and related courses.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects and academic assignments.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and moral guidance to students in line with the university's core values.
- Assist in the administration of examinations, grading, and continuous assessment of students.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Finance or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Alternatively, applicants with a Master's degree in Finance and at least four (4) relevant peer-reviewed publications may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the university level.
