Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria, a reputable private conventional institution established in 2005, is seeking a dedicated and academically sound professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer I in the Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in specialized education fields.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant specialization from a recognized and reputable university.
- Demonstrated evidence of strong scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Membership in relevant professional educational bodies and associations is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of effective teaching and academic leadership at the tertiary level.
