Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Cybersecurity and related courses
  • Design and update course curricula to reflect current trends and best practices in cybersecurity
  • Supervise undergraduate students' projects, research, and academic development
  • Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable academic journals
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees
  • Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students throughout their studies
  • Contribute to the university's community engagement and outreach initiatives
  • Support examination processes, including setting, marking, and moderation of assessments

Qualifications
  • A PhD in Cybersecurity, or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience
  • A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
  • Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), or a valid Exemption/Exclusion Certificate where applicable
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise undergraduate students' academic and research work
  • Sound knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to academic integrity and continuous professional development
