Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Cybersecurity and related courses
- Design and update course curricula to reflect current trends and best practices in cybersecurity
- Supervise undergraduate students' projects, research, and academic development
- Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable academic journals
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees
- Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students throughout their studies
- Contribute to the university's community engagement and outreach initiatives
- Support examination processes, including setting, marking, and moderation of assessments
- A PhD in Cybersecurity, or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience
- A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), or a valid Exemption/Exclusion Certificate where applicable
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise undergraduate students' academic and research work
- Sound knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices
