We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer II specializing in Curriculum and Instructional Technology to join our vibrant Department of Education. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of education by imparting knowledge, mentoring students, and driving cutting-edge research in digital learning, instructional design, and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Curriculum and Instructional Technology.
  • Design, update, and evaluate course curricula to align with modern educational trends and NUC standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and teaching practice sessions.
  • Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Engage in community service and institutional development initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD in Curriculum and Instructional Technology or a related field, OR a Master’s degree plus a minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed journal publications in recognized academic outlets.
  • A strong foundational background with a Bachelor's degree (First Degree) awarded with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, OR Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in integrating educational technology into teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
