The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a prestigious federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and qualified academic professional to fill the position of Lecturer II in the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Engineering.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and industrial training placements.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in computer engineering, contributing to peer-reviewed academic journals and international conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Engage in community service and professional outreach initiatives aligned with the university's mission.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to foster holistic student development.
- A First Degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division.
- Alternatively, a Second-Class Lower Division First Degree paired with a relevant PhD.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
