Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Computer Science courses.
- Develop and update course materials, curricula, and instructional content in line with current industry and academic standards.
- Conduct rigorous academic research and publish findings in reputable scholarly journals.
- Supervise undergraduate students' academic projects, research work, and general academic progress.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees.
- Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students to support their overall development.
- Contribute to the university's community engagement, outreach, and institutional development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.
- A PhD in Computer Science, or a Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience.
- A demonstrable record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or a valid Certificate of Exemption/Exclusion, where applicable.
- Proven ability to effectively supervise and mentor undergraduate students.
