Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Cybersecurity and related courses.
  • Design and update course curricula in line with global best practices and emerging trends in cybersecurity.
  • Conduct impactful research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students' projects, theses, and dissertations.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide academic and administrative activities.
  • Mentor students and support their academic and professional growth.
  • Contribute to community engagement, outreach programs, and industry partnerships that enhance the university's visibility and impact.
  • Stay updated on advancements in cybersecurity to ensure teaching content remains current and relevant.

Qualifications
  • A PhD in Cybersecurity or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of post-PhD experience in teaching, research, and academic engagement.
  • A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
  • Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), or an Exemption/Exclusion Certificate where applicable.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
