We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer II in Computer Science to join our vibrant academic community. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in undergraduate Computer Science courses.
- Design, update, and implement innovative curricula utilizing technology-enhanced teaching tools and methods.
- Contribute actively to departmental research projects and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
- Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and mentor students to promote positive learning outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with senior faculty members and colleagues to achieve the Department's academic goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and continuous professional development activities.
- A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education or relevant industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, student mentorship, and promoting academic excellence.
- Familiarity with modern technology-enhanced teaching tools and digital learning methods.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
