About the Role
Federal University Lafia is a dynamic institution established in February 2011 with the mandate to increase access and quality of university education in Nigeria. Located in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State, the university continues to expand its academic footprint across multiple faculties and programmes. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer II in Building to join our esteemed faculty and help shape the next generation of construction and built environment professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Building.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, theses, and academic field work.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising and mentoring to students to support their professional and personal development.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Building or a closely relevant field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree plus at least two (2) journal publications and a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at a university level will be considered.
