About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa, is seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer II in Biochemistry to join our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biochemistry for undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula in alignment with NUC guidelines and industry standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, practicals, and academic assignments.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and university committee assignments.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their personal and professional development.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's Degree in Biochemistry or a relevant discipline, backed by at least 3 scholarly journal publications and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized tertiary institution, will be considered.
