Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Applied Chemical Science Laboratory Technology.
  • Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed local and international journals.
  • Supervise undergraduate student projects, laboratory assignments, and academic research activities.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, curriculum development, and administrative duties.
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on academic and career development within the sciences.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division alongside a PhD.
  • Must hold a PhD or a Master Degree with at least three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in recognized academic journals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Applied Chemical Science Laboratory Technology and modern laboratory equipment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
