About the Role

We are currently inviting qualified and passionate academics to join our vibrant academic community as a Lecturer II in Actuarial Science within the Department of Management Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Actuarial Science and related courses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research that contributes to the advancement of risk management and financial mathematics.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic assignments.
- Participate in student academic advising, mentoring, and departmental committee activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes within the Department of Management Science.
- Possession of a First Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- Must hold a PhD or a Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Insurance, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience at the tertiary level.
- Evidence of academic productivity with at least three (3) peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills suitable for an academic environment.
