Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Actuarial Science and related courses.
  • Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research that contributes to the advancement of risk management and financial mathematics.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic assignments.
  • Participate in student academic advising, mentoring, and departmental committee activities.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes within the Department of Management Science.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a First Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
  • Must hold a PhD or a Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Insurance, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience at the tertiary level.
  • Evidence of academic productivity with at least three (3) peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills suitable for an academic environment.
