Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical training.
  • Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee work.
  • Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives aligned with the university goals.
  • Mentor students and provide academic guidance to support their holistic professional development.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Veterinary Physiology, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of tertiary teaching and research experience.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
  • Must possess a First Degree in a relevant field with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, OR a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern pedagogical methods and academic research tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
