About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU) is a prestigious private tertiary institution licensed by the National Universities Commission in November 2016. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and accomplished academic professional to fill the position of Lecturer I in Software Engineering for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Software Engineering and related computing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student undergraduate projects, theses, and industrial training attachments.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee duties.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance to foster professional and ethical growth.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives and institutional development programs.
- Applicants must possess a PhD Degree in Software Engineering or a closely relevant field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong portfolio of scholarly publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools and software development environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Competitive remuneration package based on the KDUTSS 04 salary structure, comparable to Federal Universities in Nigeria.
