Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Public Health to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
  • Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and community service initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Health or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • Must have served as a Lecturer II for at least two (2) years.
  • A strong publication record with a minimum of seven (7) peer-reviewed academic publications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and moral values aligned with the university's ethos.
