About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Lecturer I in Physiotherapy to join our vibrant academic community in Masaka, Nasarawa State. Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Physiotherapy to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review curricula and course materials to align with modern NUC standards and global healthcare trends.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical postings, and academic dissertations at various levels.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, student academic advising, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of active teaching and academic experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must have a proven research track record with at least 5 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary academic team.
- Current professional licensure and active registration with relevant regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
