About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa, is expanding its esteemed academic faculty. Located on our sprawling campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State, along the Abuja corridor, we are fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer I in Physiology to join our vibrant academic community and help shape the next generation of professionals through skill-oriented, international-quality education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Physiology to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with NUC standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and laboratory activities.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Physiology or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching and academic experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- A strong track record of at least 5 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
