We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate academic professional to fill the role of Lecturer I (Nursing Science) within our vibrant Faculty of Allied Health Science.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Nursing Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials in line with global academic standards and Nigerian University Commission (NUC) guidelines.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, clinical postings, and mentor students toward academic and professional success.
- Conduct cutting-edge research, publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic profile.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, community engagement initiatives, and administrative duties as assigned.
- Must possess a PhD in Nursing Science or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in academic teaching, research, and curriculum delivery within the tertiary education sector.
- Strong ICT proficiency with demonstrable competence in utilizing digital learning management systems for modern pedagogy.
- Active membership in relevant professional nursing bodies and regulatory councils.
- Mandatory possession of a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate or official exemption certificate.
