Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students
- Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable academic journals
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and dissertations
- Participate in curriculum development, review, and academic quality assurance processes
- Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students
- Engage in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative and committee duties
- Contribute to community service and professional development activities within the field of nursing
- Stay abreast of current trends, technologies, and best practices in nursing education and clinical care
- A PhD in Nursing Science from a recognised institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-PhD experience in teaching, research, and related academic work
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and a valid practising licence
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or a valid Certificate of Exemption/Exclusion, where applicable
- Demonstrated ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively
- Strong research output with evidence of publications in reputable journals
