About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate academic professional to fill the role of Lecturer I in the College of Medicine and Surgery at our campus in Benin City, Edo State.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Medicine and Surgery to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and academic progress.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committee activities.
- Mentor students academically and morally in alignment with the institutional core values.
- Must possess a PhD or equivalent professional fellowship in Medicine and Surgery or a closely related relevant discipline.
- At least three (3) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing research and relevant academic publications.
- Current professional registration and a valid medical practising licence where applicable.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern instructional delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, teaching, and student supervision skills.
