Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Candidates applying for this academic position must meet the following rigorous standards:

  • Possession of a PhD in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related relevant field from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Demonstrated academic progression with a minimum of 2 years of teaching or research experience equivalent to academic expectations.
  • A robust research portfolio comprising at least 25 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, with a minimum of 5 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
  • Mandatory possession of a valid NYSC discharge certificate or an official exemption certificate.
  • Active membership in relevant professional bodies such as the Council of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
