Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified academic professionals for the position of Lecturer I (Mathematics) within the School of Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Mathematics to National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and degree-level students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in line with modern educational standards.
- Supervise student research projects, practical assignments, and academic progress.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, school, and college committee meetings, accreditation exercises, and community service initiatives.
- Doctorate degree in Mathematics or a directly relevant discipline, with at least 3 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience, plus required publications.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline, with at least 6 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience, plus required publications.
- Serving Lecturer II personnel with a minimum of 3 years of satisfactory service and requisite conference papers, journal articles, and textbook contributions.
- Strong evidence of academic publishing, including journal articles, conference papers, and textbook chapter contributions within the last four years.
