About the Role
Crown Polytechnic, a prestigious privately-owned tertiary institution in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, is recruiting a dedicated Lecturer I in Mass Communication. Since its establishment in 2008, the institution has maintained excellence in technical and professional education, with official accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to offer National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Mass Communication to ND and HND students
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum content aligned with NBTE standards
- Conduct practical exercises and supervised learning activities in media and communication
- Assess student performance through examinations, projects, and continuous evaluation
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development
- Contribute to departmental meetings and academic planning initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate contemporary practices into teaching
- Support student research projects and academic activities
- Master's degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related discipline
- Minimum of three years of professional or academic experience in Mass Communication
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for teaching and student development
- Knowledge of NBTE curriculum standards (advantageous)
