About the Role
Fountain University, owned by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), invites applications from suitably qualified academics for the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Mass Communication. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate lectures in Mass Communication courses.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects and dissertations.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic advising.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mass Communication or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of active teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer II for at least two (2) years.
- A strong publication record with a minimum of seven (7) peer-reviewed academic publications.
