The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Management Science, specializing in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to the academic body of knowledge.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee assignments.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the department and faculty.
- Mentor students and provide academic counseling to foster professional growth and ethical standards.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of tertiary teaching and research experience.
- A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Must possess a First Degree with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, OR a Second-Class Lower Division with a PhD.
