The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a premier federal university in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and passionate academic professional to join our esteemed Department of Management Science as a Lecturer I in Human Resources Management. In this role, you will contribute to our rich academic heritage by delivering engaging lectures, mentoring students, and advancing impactful research within the field of management and HR.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Human Resources Management and related Management Science courses.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives aligned with the university goals.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, career development, and professional ethics.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of active teaching and research experience at a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in recognized academic journals.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
