Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise student research projects, laboratory practicals, and academic dissertations.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in relevant medical laboratory science domains and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic mentoring for students.
- Collaborate with faculty members on multidisciplinary research and community development initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties and other assignments as delegated by the Head of Department or Dean of the Faculty.
- Must possess a PhD in Haematology, Blood Transfusion Science, or a closely related medical laboratory science discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of continuing research and relevant academic publications in reputable journals.
- Proven competence in effective teaching, curriculum delivery, and undergraduate/postgraduate student supervision.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern educational delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence with the relevant regulatory body.
